Our fall schedule begins

Our fall schedule begins

September 3, 2026

As many of you know, Peoples Land Company is best known for selling land--especially farms that have remained in the same family for generations. It is an honor to represent these properties and the people behind them. We have built lasting relationships with our clients, and this fall's auction lineup features some truly exceptional farms and families.

Our fall schedule begins with Three W LLC, an outstanding pasture and recreational farm in southern Macon County near Thomas Hill Lake. Held by the family for many years, the property features strong pasture, a home, excellent fencing and a desirable location. Susan and Nathan have been wonderful to work with throughout the process, and we are proud to represent them.

Next is the Struebbe Trust auction in Audrain County. This long-held family farm is located in an area known for strong yields and a wide range of future uses. We are excited to bring this property to market and look forward to delivering an outstanding auction for Gail and Dana.

November 12 brings two exceptional auctions for two remarkable families. That morning, Mick and Barb Haldeman will offer their 80-acre Lewis County tract just outside LaBelle. Simply put, it is an excellent 80 acres. The Haldeman name is well known throughout the area, thanks in part to Mick's father, a longtime local business owner. We are honored to work for Mick and Barb and look forward to presenting this outstanding property.

That evening, we will be in La Plata for the Biggs Trust auction, featuring nearly 1,200 acres of diverse family-owned land. From the owners to the tenants, this property has been shaped by thoughtful, hardworking people. The farm is an impressive operation in its own right and a testament to generations of diligence and stewardship. We are proud to have been selected to bring it to market, and we expect a strong crowd on auction night.

Our December 10 auction is backed by a family whose name is synonymous with stewardship and care. The Samp Bros. Inc. sale is sure to draw attention from buyers across the country. With top-tier tillable ground, productive pasture, an excellent location and diverse recreational appeal, this is an exceptional offering. We are grateful for the opportunity to work with the Samp family.

The fall auction schedule continues to evolve as we speak daily with landowners about their options and the best path forward. The market is fluid, but demand for quality land remains strong--and we are fortunate to represent some of the very best sellers and properties in the region. Thank you to everyone who has trusted us in the past. We look forward to a successful fall season, and we hope to see you at these auctions. As always, we are here to help in any way we can.
